Why these are free

Because the numbers are the easy part. Anyone can tell you that you need 2,100 calories and 160 g of protein a day. The hard part is turning that into meals you will actually cook, sessions that fit around a shift pattern, and adjustments when the scales stall in week three. That is what the Build Me Different coach does, and it starts from exactly these numbers - so try them, see what they say, and if you want the plan built around them, the trial is 30 days free.

How to use them together

Start with the BMI tool if you are not sure whether fat loss or muscle gain is the right first goal. Then run the calorie calculator with that goal to get a daily target, and the protein calculator to make sure the target is built on enough protein. Once you are training, the one rep max calculator tells you what weight to put on the bar.

A note on accuracy

Every formula here is an estimate for the average person. Yours will be within roughly 10% of the truth, which is close enough to start. Track your weight for two weeks, adjust by 100–200 calories if it is not moving the way you want, and you will have a better number than any calculator can give you.
